SC Introduces ‘One Case, One Data’ Platform For Seamless Judicial Data Access

ENA Sectors 2026-05-12 12:53:44 New Delhi, May 12 (KNN) The Supreme Court of India launched the One Case, One Data system on Monday. It is aimed at improving judicial case management through integrated access to case data across courts nationwide. Integrated Access Across All Court Levels Chief Justice of India Surya Kant, while announcing the initiative, said that the system will allow seamless integration of case-related data from the Supreme Court, High Courts, district courts and taluka courts for the first time. He said the initiative will also allow the Supreme Court to access complete case details from lower courts while also enabling lower courts to remain connected with the apex courts database. Faster Case Verification Through Automation According to the Chief Justice, the new system will automate data retrieval from court databases and enable faster online verification of case-related information across judicial forums. Reciprocal access to case information will also be extended to High Courts and government departments whenever required. He said the initiative is expected to improve data integrity, enhance accuracy, and bring greater transparency to the judicial process. Supreme Court Launches Su-Sahayak Chatbot An assistive chatbot, Su-Sahayak, was also launched by the apex court. It is developed by the National Informatics Centre in collaboration with the Supreme Court Registry to help stakeholders access case-related information and navigate court services more efficiently. Impact on MSMEs The One Case, One Data system will help MSMEs involved in legal disputes by improving transparency, reducing delays in case verification, and enabling faster access to court records across judicial levels. The Su-Sahayak chatbot can further simplify legal processes, helping small businesses save time and reduce administrative costs associated with litigation.
