Come and Make in Netherlands, country invites logistics-medical startups

New Delhi, Dec 12 (KNN) Eyeing at increased collaboration along investments, Netherlands is inviting Indian startups in different sectors including medical science, ports, clean technology, and logistics, Maarten Struijvenberg, Vice Mayor of the City of Rotterdam of Netherlands said.
Citing statistics, the Mayor said that his city offers fertile scope for the startups to prosper. In the previous year, the growth of startups stood at over 31 per cent, he said.
Ports and logistics based startups can find good business in Rotterdam, Mayor informed.
Elaborating further, Maarten said that Indian startups based on medical industry are also welcome in Netherlands to explore possible areas of collaboration and business.
The Mayor informed that the country is keen in promoting startups through venture capital. The universities in the country along with the pension funds form good capital support for the startups that plan to start business in Netherlands.
Collaboration with India including both startup as well as big conglomerates is on the chart for the different European nations in the aftermath of Brexit. Over 200 Indian firms have already set up operations in Netherlands, making India the sixth largest foreign investor.
