Knowledge and News Network (KNN) - Information dissemination platform for MSMEs

The initiative: Knowledge and News Network (KNN)

To address MSMEs' long-standing problems arising of gaps in information and knowledge flows, GIZ- German Agency for International Cooperation and FISME- India's largest MSME body, have joined hands to create a nation-wide IT based 'Knowledge and News Network' (KNN) in 2013.

KNN is an information dissemination platform through a national network of over 150 networked industry associations and 110 institutions.

On the one hand KNN broadcasts policy announcements, information about public schemes and latest developments related to MSMEs of central and state Governments, on the other hand, it brings MSME views to policy makers.
