Jammu MSMEs visit Plastic & Rubber Exhibition in Jakarta

Jammu, Nov 22 (KNN) Jammu based MSME entrepreneurs visited the Plastic & Rubber Exhibition in Jakarta, Indonesia, from November 16-19 to explore the potential sectors and opportunities available for collaboration.

This year 29th edition of Plastics & Rubber Indonesia was held and attracted key players from across the globe including from countries like China, Germany, Italy, Korea, Singapore, Switzerland, Taiwan and the UK.

It is a dedicated event for plastics and rubber in Indonesia with the sole focus of serving the industry.

An eight member MSME delegation from Jammu visited the international exhibition under the leadership of Lalit Kumar Mahajan, Chairman Federation of Industries & President Bari Brahmana Industries Association, Jammu.

After returning from the exhibition, Mahajan said, “Plastic & Rubber Indonesia 2016 is professionally managed and hosted by the All World Exhibition. It is famous for Plastic & Rubber Industry, Beverage Processing, Filling & Packaging Technology for food processing, storing and packaging supplies and equipment from around the world.”

The exhibition gives a platform to the local and international producers and provides them with an invaluable platform to share their products and to develop and increase their business, he said.

Over the last 29 years, the event has proven an effective route to market for many companies and offers a tempting opportunity to meet large numbers of targeted visitors in a short space of time.

As many as 150 exhibitors from different countries displayed their products in the exhibition.

The member units interacted with the Foreign Delegates and also discussed the business proposals with them to explore the possibility of setting up the units for plastic products, rubber, food products and other related products, Mahajan said.

Exports prospects of industrial products were also discussed in detail, he added.

BBIA Delegation is extended support by the MSME Ministry, Government of India on regular basis to upgrade their technology as per international standards, BBIA President said.

The delegates representing various industries including food based, Corrugated Boxes Packaging, Packaging Tapes, Ayurvedic Medicines etc. participated in the Exhibition. (KNN Bureau)
