Digiana, Jammu, MSMEs hail govt’s decision to transfer industrial estate to SICOP/SIDCO

Jammu, Nov 12 (KNN) A move which is being hailed by the MSMEs in Digiana, Jammu, the J&K Government has decided to transfer the Digiana Industrial Estate to SICOP/SIDCO as per the Industrial Policy 2016.
Jatinder Aul, President of Small Scale Industries Association, Digiana, has hailed the decision taken by the State Industries Minister Chander Prakash stating the move will provide a great relief to the Micro and Small Scales Units who are suffering from last so many years due to poor maintenance and lack of infrastructure in the Estate.
While interacting with Prakash and Commissioner/Secretary, Industries and Commerce Shalindra Kumar in the meeting held at Udyog Bhawan, Jammu on Friday, Aul thanked them for resolving the long pending demand in respect of dedicated industrial power supply to industrial units at par with the Bari Brahmana and Gangyal Industrial Estate.
He said the Minister assured him in the meeting that the necessary infrastructure for this shall be made available by March 31, 2017.
The Small Scale Industries Association has also hailed the role of Federation of Industries, Jammu in taking up the issue with the concerned authorities on regular basis. (KNN Bureau)
