MSMEs can now update or edit their info on UAM: MoMSME

New Delhi, Mar 11 (KNN) In a move to improve ease of doing business for micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs), the Ministry of MSME has introduced a new provision to enable applicants edit the Udyog Aadhar Memorandum.

The applicants can now Edit or Update their information in Udyog Aadhaar.

They will get a One Time Password to either mobile linked to Aadhar or the mobile number given during UAM filing or will be sent via email to the applicant.

The MoMSME said, “We have now provided the Edit / Update facility in Udyog Aadhaar. It is OTP based. OTP will go to the mobile linked with Aadhaar. If it’s not linked, then it will go to mobile as given during UAM filing. Third option of OTP is Email which has been given during UAM filing.”

With the combination of UAM number and OTP, the MSME unit can update their Udyog Aadhaar.

UAM enables MSMEs register themselves online. This has done away with the tedious task of filing EMI and EM II and filing too many documents. (KNN Bureau)

Goto Udyam registration site at the right top you can see print certificate, in that u cn see print udyam certificate new window will open asking for udyam registration No. & phone no. choose option for otp and click validate. A new window with udyam certificate opens.
