New Delhi, Jan 23 (KNN) Paytm recently announced launching the Paytm for Business application for smartphones on the Android play store.

The new application helps Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) to conduct digital transactions in a hassle free manner.

Informing about the launch, Paytm in a press release said that the new smartphone application enables new merchants and SMEs to sign up easily and obtain a Paytm QR code. Once done, the merchant can start accepting payments digitally.

Also the application allows users to manage their day to day payments and day-end reconciliations, the release added.

The application at present is launched in over 10 regional languages and users have the option to download daily, weekly and monthly transaction statements with the details of the transactions.

Commenting over the latest development, Kiran Vasireddy, COO – Paytm said that the ‘Paytm for Business’ app is another step towards simplifying payments for the country’s vast & diverse business partner community.

“It will make managing day-to-day business operations simpler for our partner merchants & offer them the peace of mind that comes with having a dependable one-stop solution.”
