PM Modi has introduced several schemes to make MSME sector stress free: Giriraj to KNN

New Delhi, Feb 26 (KNN) Prime Minister Narendra Modi has introduced various schemes to make stress free eco-system for MSMEs be it extension of NPA date, allocation of funds in guarantee scheme or procurement measures, said Minister of State (I/C) Giriraj Singh in an interview to KNN.
The National Board for Micro Small and Medium Enterprises (NBMSME) held its 16th meeting today to discuss on important policies and issues concerning the sector. The meeting was being chaired by the MSME Minister.
Singh said MSME is the only sector which provides employment to large masses.
He further said that MSME in total including formal and informal units give employment to 8 crore people.
Further, on Khadi and Solar Charkha, he said “Solar Charkha mission is on progress and various pilot projects have been done in states like Bihar and Surat which has provided employment to large people and our next motive is to decentralized production of Yarn - one spindler one job. (KNN/YV)
