Responsible Indian BMOs to be awarded by Foundation for MSME Clusters on Feb 10

New Delhi, Nov 10 (KNN) Recognizing the “responsible” work done by the industry associations to promote energy efficiency & ZED model amongst MSMEs, Foundation for MSME Clusters (FMC) is hosting the 3rd Awards for “Responsible Indian BMOs” on 10th February, 2017 in the national capital.

The last date for submitting application forms for the award is November 22, 2016.

The award aims to recognize the responsible Indian business membership organisations (BMOs) for their contribution towards promoting best business practices amongst MSMEs and to encourage MSMEs support institution to support BMOs in promoting such activities.

The award ultimately would help promote ‘Zero Defect Zero Effect’ production for the country as a whole.

The awards will be categorised in three units namely cluster/SPV, district and state/country.

BMOs registered as society, trust, co-operative society, producer companies and other unregistered BMOs will be eligible for the awards.

The Award will recognize the good work done by BMOs in promoting responsible production by reducing energy usage and environment concerns and also resolving social issues within and outside the clusters.

The criteria for shortlisting the BMOs would include – Governance Structure; Accreditation; Responsible Activities; Paid Services and more. The final selection would be done through case study based on funding pattern, outreach, employment generation and more.

The selected BMOs will be provided handholding support worth Rs 50,000 to Rs 1,00,000 for promoting SDGs.
