New Delhi, Feb 22 (KNN) National Institute for Interdisciplinary Science & Technology (NIIST) ,one of the top-leading research laboratories of Council of Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR), India’s largest R&D organization in public sector will organize a one-day “R and D-Industry Meet” on Feb 23, 2018.

CSIR-NIIST is mandated to provide R&D support to industries through contract projects, technology transfers etc.

The industry meet will be inaugurated by Additional Chief Secretary of Local Self Government Department, T K Jose, and the industry meet will be chaired by CSIR-NIIST Director Dr A Ajayaghosh.

This meet is meant to identify the requirements of industry, and provide solutions to their specific problems by working together in unison.

Along with the industry meet there will be an exhibition of Products/Technologies as well as Knowledge base/Processes developed by CSIR-NIIST.

It is also expected that about 100 of participants from various industries including Micro Small and Medium Enterprises will attend this one-day meet.
