Eyeing at Standardization and Conformity assessment Cabinet approves MoU between India and Mali

New Delhi, June 8 (KNN) The Union Cabinet under the chairmanship of Prime Minister Narendra Modi has given the nod to the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between the standardization bodies of India and Mali.
The Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) from the Indian side and the Direction Nationale De Industries (MLINDI) of the Republic of Mali will work in collaboration after the signing of the MoU.
The MoU aims to enable closer cooperation between India and Mali in various processes of Standardization. It further aims to build a mechanism between the two nations to strengthen conformity assessment as well as standardization.
This is being seen as an important step towards achieving new heights both in bilateral trade and standing in global market. (KNN/ DA)
