Kalraj Mishra to inaugurate International Machine Tools and Industrial Fair in Coimbatore on June 1

Coimbatore, May 17 (KNN) The The 17th edition of International Machine Tools and Industrial Fair - Intec 2017, will be held in the city from June 1-15, 2017 in which the organizers are expecting around Rs 600 crore business turnover.

The fair will be inaugurated by Union Minister for Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MoMSME) Kalraj Mishra.

The five-day fair will feature 536 exhibitors from various States in India and countries like Japan, Italy, USA, Taiwan, China, INTEC 2017 chairman J Balu told reporters.

There is an increase in the number of exhibitors this time and 40 companies would be launching their products, he said.

As part of the fair, the 8th edition of Global Manufacturing Cluster Vision 2030 will be held on June 2, which would help create a knowledge sharing platform and lay a future roadmap for the CEOs of Indian manufacturing industry, Balu said.

Coimbatore District Small Industries Association (CODISIA) president V Sundaram said the last fair saw business to the tune of Rs. 375 crore being generated. He pegged that this time approximately Rs. 600 crore business turnover was expected.
