New Delhi, Mar 4 (KNN) The Indian Chamber of Commerce is organizing the 11th North East Business Summit (NEBS) in the national capital on March 9-10, 2017.

The 11th NEBS will aim to display strengths, potentials and initiatives of the North East. It envisages promoting investment in the region and also have focused deliberations on strategic areas like infrastructure and connectivity, agri-horti, food processing, service sector and energy to highlight the investment and business opportunities in these sectors.

According to the organizers NEBS will discussions over ease of doing business in the region which would help stakeholders address key issues.

On the sidelines of the event, B2B and G2B meetings will be held.

Some of the key note speakers at NEBS include – Union Railway Minister Suresh Prabhu, Union Food Processing Minister Harsimrat Kaur Badal, DoNER Minister Jitender Singh, DIPP Secretary Ramesh Abhishek, Joint Secretary from the Commerce Ministry Sudanhu Pandey.

The Sessions would focus on ‘Make in NE India’, Electronics & IT, ‘Developing Services Sector in NE’, energy etc.

NEBS is a flagship initiative of the Indian Chamber of Commerce since 2002 to promote investment in the NE region. (KNN Bureau)
