MSME Convention in Bhopal, announcement of new MSME policy expected at the event

New Delhi, Nov 2 (KNN) The Madhya Pradesh government is going to announce a new policy for Micro, Small and medium Enterprise (MSME) units during a convention in Bhopal scheduled for 17th and 18th of November, Minister of State for Micro, said Small and Medium Enterprises (I/C) Sanjay Satyendra informed.

The scheduled convention is expected to feature over 1000 MSMEs, 1500 self-employed entrepreneurs and representatives of Industries Association will participate in the convention.

He said that MSMEs of the state will display their products in the exhibition along with stalls of large industries and Public Sector Undertakings (PSUs). The exhibition will serve as a platform for communication between MSMEs and large industries.

He also informed that Skill development programme will also be inaugurated during the event.

Also Industries Association-Betul and District Trade and Industries Center-Betul will sign a MOU for the maintenance of Industrial Area district Betul.

Principal Secretary VL Kantarao said that the selected MSMEs and self-employment units will also be awarded for their excellent work for the year 2016-17 in the convention and State Level Self-Employment Convention will also be organized along with the main event. (KNN/AG)
