PM Modi launches infrastructural projects in Jharkhand, eyes at creation of business and employment in the state

New Delhi, Apr 7 (KNN) Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Thursday flagged off various infrastructure projects for Santhal Pargana (A tribal region in Jharkhand).
Emphasizing on the importance of connectivity Modi laid the foundation for a bridge on Ganga . The four-lane bridge on the Ganga river will be connecting Sahibganj, some 450 km from state capital Ranchi, to Manihari in Bihar's Katihar district.
He also launched the Multi-Modal Transport Hub (MMT), under the flagship of National Waterway-1 Project. According to a media report PM Modi said "The waterways on the Ganga river will connect Jharkhand to the world. Jharkhand is a land-locked state but after developing waterways, it will get connected to the world and become part of the economic revolution”.
Modi also inaugurated a 311 km state highway project from Govindpur in Dhanbad to Sahibganj. During the visit, the PM dedicated a Solar Power facility at the Sahebganj District Court premises and Sahebganj District Hospital. (KNN/ DA)
