Power subsidy for industries in Punjab soon: Amarinder Singh

New Delhi, Oct 14 (KNN) Eyeing at addressing the concerns of the industry in the state comprising of a fair share of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs), the Punjab government is to introduce subsidy, Punjab CM Captain Amarinder Singh informed.
The Minister said that the government would roll out power subsidy to industry, with power at the rate of Rs 5 per unit, from November 1 onwards.
Singh added that the development comes post approval from the state assembly.
The decision of power subsidy to industry comes in response to the concerned raised by different MSME bodies of the state, also it was a pre-poll promise of the Congress party in Punjab. (KNN/DA)
