Rajasthan Govt signs MoU with Wadhwani Operating Foundation to promote entrepreneurship

Jaipur, June 3 (KNN) In a move towards developing Rajasthan as a smart state in job creation and entrepreneurship, Rajasthan Government has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Wadhwani Operating Foundation.

To promote entrepreneurship and innovation in the state, the MoU in this regard was signed between State Government and Wadhwani Operating Foundation in presence of Chief Minister Vasundhara Raje on Thursday.

Foundation will be partner in developing Rajasthan as a smart state in job creation and entrepreneurship.

The Foundation would work towards transforming ITIs in modern manufacturing training hubs besides developing city based Start-ups and small business innovation initiatives.

Raje on this occasion said entrepreneurship development is in the top priorities of the state government.

“Our objective is to implement the entrepreneurship development model of international level,” she said.

She said the state government expects cooperation from WoF and other agencies to achieve the objective of establishing state-of-the-art entrepreneurship development centre in each district.

According to a statement, the Wadhwani Operating Foundation will make entrepreneurship education ubiquitous in school, colleges, universities and ITIs of the state.

Foundation will provide content of international level, technique and specialised services of experts according to the demand and industrial development scenario in the state. It will also help in providing vocational education in high schools and transforming ITIs in modern manufacturing training hubs besides developing city based Startup and small business innovation initiatives.
