Synergy Summit in WB’s Bankura district bags business proposals worth Rs 600 cr, 305 proposals from MSMEs

Kolkata, May 23 (KNN) The Bankura district administration in West Bengal has received investment proposals worth Rs 600 crore at the received investment proposals worth Rs 600 crore.

According to All India Trinamool Congress (AITC) around 305 investment proposals came from micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs) and the other proposals were from large industries.

MSMEs like bakeries, rice mills, mechanised stone-crushing units, small-scale units manufacturing agricultural tools and roofing tiles, poultry fodder-making, agro-servicing units, sal-leaf cup-and-plate manufacturing, automobile painting and many others are successfully running their trade in the district.

AITC said that the senior State Government officials attending the summit claimed that the responses from industrialists are quite impressive. This is the first time that the Bankura district administration has received such huge investment proposals from industrialists.

The administration has promised to provide them with every possible help. The district administration has already published a booklet on the availability of land. Land-related information will also be uploaded on the website of the district administration.

Besides MSMEs, there are many service industries running successfully in the district too. Examples include screen printing, offset printing, automobile repairing and servicing, building bodies of buses and manufacturing domestic electrical appliances.
