Tamil Nadu CM launches 3 updated websites for MSMEs to facilitate loans, jobs, NOCs etc

Chennai, May 7 (KNN) As many as three dedicated portals for the micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs) where the entrepreneurs can obtain benefits of various services like NOCs, licenses, job opportunities, bank loans etc have been launched in Tamil Nadu.
Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Edappadi K Palaniswami has launched three updated websites for the benefit of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSME) sector.
The first portal https://easybusiness.tn.gov.in/msme has been updated at a cost of Rs 9.33 lakh and it is an updated version of the single window portal already running for giving approvals for starting new industries in Tamil Nadu.
With updated portal, the MSMEs can obtain benefits of other services like no objection certificate from Health Department, license to be received from Rural Development and Panchayat Raj Department and electricity connection from Tamil Nadu Electricity Board.
Moreover, entrepreneurs can get various certificates through this portal without going to concerned offices for obtaining the same in person.
The second portal http://www.msmeonline.tn.gov.in/uyegp has been launched with a purpose to facilitate unemployed youths.
With this portal, unemployed youth can apply for loans under the Unemployed Youth Employment Generation Program (UYEGP).
While the portal http://www.msmeonline.tn.gov.in/need has been launched to facilitate unemployed youth under the New Entrepreneur-cum-Enterprise Development Scheme (NEEDS) so that they can avail bank loans easily.
Apart from this, Facebook, Twitter and YouTube pages of the commissionerate of industries and Commerce were also launched for the entrepreneurs so that entrepreneurs can share their views and concerns over these social media pages and government can take respective actions.
The chief minister also inaugurated 46th branch of TAICO Bank at Ondipudur in Coimbatore district, established at a cost of Rs 25 lakh, through video-conferencing and commissioned mechanized cleaners procured for Municipal Administration and Water Supply Department (MAWS), at a cost of Rs 5.60 croe.
Meanwhile, Palaniswami inaugurated six parks established at a total cost of Rs 4.51 crore at Tamil Nadu Slum Clearance Board quarters at Thalankuppam , residential quarters for tsunami affected on Kathivakkam Highways and at Tondiarpet, B and M blocks in AA Plan Road, Tamil Nadu Housing Board residential quarters at West Natesan Nagar and Union Carbide Colony at Kodungaiyur.
