TSIIC to develop industrial parks, upgrade old parks under Centre’s MSE-CDP

Hyderabad, Mar 7 (KNN) The Telangana State Industrial Infrastructure Corporation Ltd (TSIIC) has decided to develop new industrial parks as well as upgrade old industrial parks under the Central Government’s Micro & Small Enterprises - Cluster Development Programme (MSE-CDP).
In a meeting held by the corporation, the officials discussed development of at least one park in each district with at a cost of Rs 10 crore. The Industrial Area Local Authority (IALA) will be investing Rs 2 crore for the project while the Central Government will release Rs 8 crore.
In case the IALAs do not have sufficient funds, the TSIIC will itself be funding the Rs 2 crore. This was decided at a meeting held by the corporation presided over by Chairman G. Balamallu and attended by zonal managers and IALA commissioners, as quoted in a media report.
During the meeting it was also decided to take up upgradation and development of old industrial parks under the Central Government’s Micro & Small Enterprises - Cluster Development Programme (MSE-CDP) introduced by the Union Ministry of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises.
All the zonal managers have been directed to submit proposals within a few weeks for taking up works under this scheme.
