US-India Biz Council meets CM Adityanath, discusses investment in medical, food industry

New Delhi, June 7 (KNN) A business delegation of the United States-India Business Council recently met the Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath. Key focus of the discussion was to explore opportunities for investment in the different sectors.
The Mukesh Aadhi led US-India business delegation proposed investments in food processing industry eyeing at the potential food produce in the state of Uttar Pradesh. The delegation also discussed investment in other sectors including the production of high class medical devices, innovations in potable water technologies, tourism and IT sectors.
Along with the Uttar Pradesh CM, key government officials including Chief Secretary Rahul Bhatnagar were present at the discussion.
The delegate acknowledged the work being carried out in the state under the newly elected CM and pushed for close economic relations between India and the United States.
The delegation further mentioned that the deeper economic cooperation will help both the industry as well as the state in achieving the Prime Minister Flagship goal Make in India.
Responding to the delegation the UP Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath asserted that the state government is willing to explore the opportunities as it will help the industry in the region and will also help generate employment resulting in the overall development of the state. (KNN/ DA)
