‘Vyapar 2017’ will bring opportunities for MSMEs: KSSIA
Kochi, Jan 30 (KNN) The sixth edition of Kerala business-to-business meet will be held in Kochi from February 2.
President of Kerala Small scale industries Association (KSSIA) told KNN the meet will be highly beneficial for the industrial sector.
“These meets encourage the MSMEs and also make units aware of the products range in the market,” said Thomas John, President of KSSIA.
Stressing over the need of Business-to-Business meets for the growth of the industrial sector, he said Vyapar 2017 will generate new opportunities for the MSMEs.
“Small entrepreneur always seeks such opportunities and this meet certainly be helpful for industrial development”, said John.
According to the association, delegates from 46 countries including USA, China, UK and Japan are likely to participate in Vyapar 2017.
Sellers from various small scale industries including food processing, handlooms & textiles, rubber, coir products, Ayurveda & herbal, electrical & electronics as well as traditional industrial sectors have registered for the event.
Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan will inaugurate the three day-meet being organized by the Kerala Department of Industries at Bolgatty Palace and Island Resort, Kochi.
Vyapar 2017 provides a platform to the buyers for direct interactions and discussions with participating manufacturers and sellers from Kerala. State Minister for Industries and Commerce A.C. Moideen will preside over the inaugural ceremony.
With a view to accord enhanced levels of access to outside markets for a wider spectrum of sectors and, more importantly, to enhanced the growth of the Small & Micro Enterprises Sector, the business to business meet is being organized. (KNN)
