120th company gets listed with BSE SME

Mumbai, Jan 19 (KNN) The SME exchange of BSE now has 120 companies listed with it, while 13 companies have migrated to the main board BSE.

The bourse continued to trade in red on Tuesday morning down by 0.92 per cent with the market capitalization plunging to Rs 6,935.70 crore.

However, the actively trading companies were not much. Out of 11 companies that traded actively, there were 5 advances, 5 declines and 1 company that traded flat.

The market capitalization of 21 companies listed with the ITP platform of BSE was Rs 5,837.26 crore.

BSE SME Platform offers an entrepreneur an investor friendly environment, which enables the listing of SMEs from the unorganized sector scattered throughout India, into a regulated and organized sector.

BSE commenced the SME platform on March 2012 and in over three- year period, 120 companies have got listed with the bourse. (KNN Bureau)
