136th company gets listed with the SME exchange of BSE

Mumbai, May 5 (KNN) Equity shares of one more firm, Ghushine Fintrrade Ocean Limited, got listed with the SME exchange of BSE today.

With this, the total number of companies listed with the bourse has reached 136. However, out of these 18 companies have migrated to the main board BSE.

“Trading Members may note that as per the guidelines issued by SEBI dated 16th February, 2000, securities of the company will only be traded in Dematerialised form. Trades effected in this scrip will be in minimum market lot (i.e. 10,000 equity shares) and the same shall be modified by the Exchange from time to time by giving prior market notice of atleast one month,” said a BSE notification.

As per norms, the companies have to be mandatorily listed and traded on the SME platform for a minimum period of two years and only after that they can migrate on to the main board, as per the guidelines specified by market regulator SEBI.

Firms that have completed two years on the SME platform and achieved a post-issue paid-up capital of at least Rs 10 crore are eligible for migration. In case, the paid-up capital exceeds Rs 25 crore threshold, it is required to migrate to the main board. (KNN Bureau)
