138th company gets listed with BSE SME

Mumbai, May 19 (KNN) The SME exchange of BSE now has 138 companies listed with Darshana Orna Limited joining the bourse.

“Trading Members of the Exchange are hereby informed that effective from Thursday, May 19, 2016, the Equity Shares of Darshan Orna Limited shall be listed and admitted to dealings on the SME Platform of Exchange in the list of ‘MT’ Group of Securities,” BSE SME said in a notification.

Darshan Orna Limited is a Small and Medium Enterprise (SME) engaged in the Gold & Silver Jewellery and Ornaments Business. The Company started its commercial operations as a wholesaler and trader of gold and silver jewelleries and ornaments by setting a unit in Manek Chowk area of Ahmedabad in North Gujarat, which is known as a hub of gold & silver market.

So far, 138 companies have got listed with BSE SME out of which 18 have migrated to the mainboard.

As per norms, the companies have to be mandatorily listed and traded on the SME platform for a minimum period of two years and only after that they can migrate on to the main board, as per the guidelines specified by market regulator SEBI. (KNN Bureau)
