161 companies are listed with the BSE SME now

Mumbai, Oct 19 (KNN) The number of companies to get listed with the SME Exchange of BSE has now crossed 161.

In the last one week, as many as 8 companies have joined the bourse. After 18 companies migrating to the main board, the exchange now has 143 companies eligible for trading,

This week, equity shares of Ahmedabad, Gujarat based India Green Reality Limited and Chennai, Tamil Nadu based Diksat Transworld Limited got listed with the exchange.

However, the number of companies actively trading on the platform is still below 50 per cent. During the closing bell today, as many as 46 companies were actively traded out of 143 firms listed.

The market capitalization of the exchange has crossed the mark of 9K Crore to reach at Rs 9,802.54 crore. (KNN Bureau)
