Aanchal Ispat Limited files papers for listing on BSE SME

Mumbai, Sept 26 (KNN)  Aanchal Ispat Limited has filed its draft red herring prospectus (DRHP) to be listed on the BSE SME platform.

The company is engaged in manufacturing of mild steel TMT re-bars, structural re-bars, round and other sectional products as per orders.  The products are broadly categorized as the re-bars in the steel industry, used in the infrastructure and construction industry.  Its existing manufacturing unit is ISO 9001:2008 certified from BSCIC Quality Management Systems.

Currently the company has two manufacturing facilities, one for TMT re-bars and other for structural re-bars.  Further, it has an installed capacity of 21000 TPA for TMT re-bars and 24000 TPA for structural re-bars. 

The BSE SME Exchange, Bombay Stock Exchange's platform for small and medium enterprises (SMEs), is witnessing a lot more SMEs listing on the platform these days. However, active trading takes place in less than half of the companies listed.

Among others firms waiting to be listed on the bourse are Amsons Apparels Limited, Jet Infraventure Limited, Vibrant Global Capital Limited and ADCC Infocab Limited. 
 
BSE commenced the SME platform on March 2012 and in over two- year period, BSE has achieved more than 90 per cent market share helping Indian SMEs create a market capitalisation of more than USD 1 billion.  Average IPO size on BSE SME is close to Rs 9 crore per issue. 

BSE SME Platform offers entrepreneurs an investor friendly environment, which enables the listing of SMEs from the unorganized sector scattered throughout India, into a regulated and organized sector.  (KNN/ES)
