Amsons Apparels Limited files DRHP on BSE SME

Mumbai, Aug 6 (KNN)  Delhi based Amsons Apparels Limited has filed Draft Red Herring Prospectus (DRHP) on the BSE SME platform for issue of 3.25 million equity shares at a price of Rs 10 per unit, aggregating to Rs 32.5 million.

Amsons Apparels is currently engaged in the business of trading of fabrics. The multi-product fabric trading company has a wide range of products to include fabrics for silk, polyester, lace fabrics, netting fabrics, coarse cotton fabric, suiting, shirting, linen, jute and other fabrics.

Other firms waiting to be listed on the bourse are – JLA Infraville Shoppers Limited, Naysaa Securities Limited, Powerhouse Fitness and Realty Limited, Western Agro-Tech Innovative Limited, among others.

Market capitalisation in trading today remained in the kissing range of Rs 7,600 crore.  While 23 firms were actively traded, there were 13 gainers, 8 losers even as 2 remained unchanged.

BSE SME Platform offers entrepreneurs an investor friendly environment, which enables the listing of SMEs from the unorganized sector scattered throughout India, into a regulated and organized sector.

Currently there are 63 firms listed on the bourse.

The BSE started the SME Platform in March 2012.  In just over 2 years, BSE has achieved more than 90 per cent market share helping Indian SMEs create a market capitalisation of more than USD 1 billion. Average IPO size on BSE SME is close to Rs 9 crore per issue.  (KNN/ES)
