Amsons Apparels Limited gets listed on BSE SME

Mumbai, Jan 6 (KNN)  Delhi based Amsons Apparels Limited is the 83rd firm to be listed on the BSE SME platform.

Incorporated in 2003, Amsons Apparels Ltd is currently engaged in the business of trading of fabrics. The range of the multi-product fabric trading company includes silk, polyester, lace fabrics, netting fabrics, coarse cotton fabric, suiting, shirting, linen, jute and other fabrics. The company primarily cater to retailers in Delhi and NCR regions, supplying unstitched fabrics.

Meanwhile equity shares of Has Lifestyle Limited have been listed and admitted to dealings on the SME Institutional Trading Platform of Exchange (SME-ITP) in the list of IP Group of Securities, effective December-24, taking the total number of companies on the ITP platform to 14.

Recently, four new firms – Agi Infra Limited, Athena Constructions Limited, SSPN Finance Limited and Filtra Consultants and Engineers Limited filed their draft red herring prospectus (DRHP) to be listed on the BSE SME platform.

BSE commenced the SME platform on March 2012 and in over two- year period, BSE has achieved more than 90 per cent market share helping Indian SMEs create a market capitalisation of more than USD 1 billion.  Average IPO size on BSE SME is close to Rs 9 crore per issue. 

BSE SME Platform offers an entrepreneur an investor friendly environment, which enables the listing of SMEs from the unorganized sector scattered throughout India, into a regulated and organized sector.  (KNN/ES)
