Andhra Bank plans 3 new branches in rural areas of Madhya Pradesh

Andhra Bank Executive Director, Ajit Kumar Rath on Thursday informed the media persons that the bank have several plans to expand our reach across the state.
“Decision to open three new banks in rural areas is one of them. At present, we have 32 branches in state. Our plan is to open seven more by September end this year and another 13 by March 13, 2016,” he said.
Rath said that the bank has 52 branches under Bhopal zone which comprises Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh.
Andhra Bank has also decided to open an exclusive bank for micro, small and medium enterprises (MSME) in Jabalpur. The bank will start its operation this year itself, he added. (KNN Bureau)
