Aspire Home Finance launches Mahila Awaas Loan for low income women

New Delhi, Jul 3 (KNN) Aspire Home Finance, the subsidiary of Motilal Oswal Financial Services, has launched MALA (Mahila Awas Loan from Aspire), a home loan division for low income women.
 
MALA will provide loans starting from Rs 2 lakh to Rs 12 lakh to salaried working women at private companies, small scale industries, nursing and paramedic attendants, housekeeping staff, peons in schools and colleges, maid servants, cooks and self-employed women running their own business for purchase and construction of affordable housing units.
 
All branches under this programme will be manned exclusively by women staff.
 
Loans will also be offered for vegetable and fruit vendors, home-based business like weaving, agarbatti making, papad making, ready-made garment making, running small time kitchen, tailoring, laundry, tutoring and wedding contractors among others.
 
MALA’s first branch has been launched in Naigaon, Mumbai Metropolitan Region (MMR).
 
AHFCL plans to open more such branches in Maharashtra, Gujarat and Madhya Pradesh in a phased manner. Aspire is also looking to provide housing loan assistance to 1,000 women customers in the current financial year under the MALA program.
 
MD and CEO, AHFCL, Anil Sachidanand said under MALA, they also offer regular EMI (equated monthly instalments) and step-up based repayment facilities so that they do not face the burden of monthly loan installment right at the outset. (KNN Bureau)
