Atishay Infotech Ltd files DRHP on BSE SME Platform

Mumbai, Aug 28 (KNN)  Information Security Management Systems company, Atishay Infotech Ltd has filed its draft red herring prospectus (DRHP) to be listed on the BSE SME platform.

The Mumbai based ISO 9001-2008 certified and ISO/IEC 27001:2005 certified company offers a wide range of information technology database management and e-governance services including large scale data entry and scanning solutions, digitization services, document conversion, data base management of highest quality to clients who are mainly PSU and government entities.

Services are currently provided in the states of Maharashtra, Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh, Bihar and Madhya Pradesh.

The BSE SME Exchange, Bombay Stock Exchange's platform for small and medium enterprises (SMEs), is witnessing a lot more SMEs listing on the platform these days. However, active trading takes place in less than half of the companies listed.

Among others firms waiting to be listed on the bourse are Majestic Research Services and Solutions Limited which is engaged in the business of market research; and Ultracab India Limited which manufactures and exports wires and cables.

Market Capitalization of BSE SME listed companies settled at Rs 7,685.23 crore in trading today.  There were 11 gainers and 14 losers while one company remained unchanged.

BSE commenced the SME platform on March 2012 and in over two- year period, BSE has achieved more than 90 per cent market share helping Indian SMEs create a market capitalisation of more than USD 1 billion.  Average IPO size on BSE SME is close to Rs 9 crore per issue. 

BSE SME Platform offers entrepreneurs an investor friendly environment, which enables the listing of SMEs from the unorganized sector scattered throughout India, into a regulated and organized sector.  (KNN/ES)
