BSE SME closes down 0.13%

Mumbai, July 13 (KNN) Unlike the main bourse, BSE, which soared over 340 points to reclaim the 28000-level, the SME exchange closed down 0.13 per cent at 843.36.
 
The market capitalization declined to Rs 7,185.90 crore with 24 out of 90 companies listed with the exchange trading actively today.
 
Meanwhile, there were 11 advances, 7 declines, whereas 6 companies that traded flat.
 
The Market Capitalization of 21 companies listed on ITP Platform was Rs 6,079.44 during the closing bell.
 
In what can be seen as a boom time for the small and medium enterprises (SMEs) in the country, the BSE SME Exchange looks to list about 100 SMEs during this fiscal.

So far, about 120 draft red herring prospectus (DRHPs) has been filed, out of which 94 companies got listed. Out of the 94 companies listed, 6 companies have migrated to the main board. (KNN Bureau)
