BSE SME closes with more gainers

Mumbai, Apr 11, (KNN) As many as eleven companies listed on the BSE SME could gain today while only five of them registered losses.

In trading today, the top gainers were VCU DATA (11.83 per cent), KHUSHAL (10.47 per cent), NEWEVER (6.90 per cent), Jupiter Infomedia (3.21 per cent) and Eco Friendly Food (1.98 per cent).

On the other hand, list of losers included ALSL (-19.74 per cent), TENTIWAL WIR (-1.96 per cent), UNISHIRE (-0.90 per cent), BCB Fin (-0.20 per cent) and Looks Health (-0.05 per cent).

As many as 17 companies traded today and market capitalisation of the BSE SME listed companies reached Rs 6,248.32 crore.

BSE SME Platform offers an entrepreneur an investor friendly environment, which enables the listing of SMEs from the unorganized sector scattered throughout India, into a regulated and organized sector. 

Some of the other companies waiting in the wings to raise capital and get listed on the platform are – Dhanuka Commercial Limited; Sirohia and Sons Limited; and Starlit Power Systems Limited Ltd.

Though the number on the BSE SME has been rising, less than one third of the companies are actively traded in this bourse.   (KNN/ST)
