BSE SME gets its 54th company: Sri Krishna Prasadam

Mumbai, Mar 28 (KNN) The number of companies listed on the BSE SME platform has reached 54 today, with the national capital based company Shri Krishna Prasadam Limited being listed with 48.67 lakh equity shares of Rs 10/- each for cash at par, aggregating to Rs 2.16 crore.

The issue was opened for subscription on March 11 and closed on March 14. Net proceeds of the issue are proposed to be utilised for working capital for the business of trading of agricultural products.

Shri Krishna Prasadam Limited is a multidisciplinary business venture. The company is into different businesses such as – real estate; trading of agricultural products; and security trading.

The number of companies now actively trading on the BSE SME platform is 23 and the market capitalization of the BSE SME listed companies is in the approaching range of Rs 6, 000 crore.

The last company that got listed in BSE SME before Shri Krishna Prasadam was Ghaziabad based Kanak Krishi Implements Limited. The company got listed with 1,24,08,000 equity shares of Rs 10/- each on March-26.

BSE SME Platform offers an entrepreneur an investor friendly environment, which enables the listing of SMEs from the unorganized sector scattered throughout India, into a regulated and organized sector.
 
Over the last few weeks, the BSE SME Exchange, the Bombay Stock Exchange's platform for small and medium enterprises (SMEs), has been witnessing a lot more SMEs listing on the platform. (KNN/SD)
