BSE SME has 164 companies listed; Rs 1,281.79 cr has been raised so far

Mumbai, Feb 6 (KNN) The SME exchange of BSE now has 164 companies and the total amount of money raised so far is Rs 1,281.79 crore.

Last week equity shares of Ludhiana, Punjab, based Super Fine Knitters Limited got listed with the exchange. Super Fine Knitters Limited is key supplier of knitting fabrics for various large export companies involved in manufacturing knitted garments in India.

Meanwhile, the equity shares of Mumbai, Maharashtra, based Atishay Limited migrated to main board BSE. Atishay Limited is a leading information Technology driven company focussing on creating India's largest network of last-mile retail pint-of-sale.

So far, as many as 23 companies have moved from BSE SME to the main board leaving 141 companies with the exchange. One company was suspended, hence now the total number of companies eligible for trading is 140.

The market capitalization of total number of companies listed with BSE SME is Rs 19,377.68 crore. (KNN Bureau)
