BSE SME in the 60's club; one more joins the band wagon

Mumbai, Jun 12 (KNN)  In a major milestone for the small and medium enterprises, the number of companies listed on the BSE-SME trading platform has touched the crucial number of 60.

The BSE SME Exchange, Bombay Stock Exchange's platform for small and medium enterprises (SMEs), is witnessing a lot more SMEs listing on the platform these days. 

However, active trading takes place in less than half of the companies listed.

Today, the market capitalization of BSE SME reached Rs 7,411.32 crore with only 18 companies actively trading.

The equity shares of Dhanuka Commercial Limited were listed yesterday on the platform, while some of the companies which have filed their DRHP documents are Encash Entertainment Limited, Bansal Roofing Products Limited etc.

The BSE SME platform was launched in March 2012. (KNN/SD)
