BSE-SME touches 50; more firms in pipeline to get stock listed

Mumbai, Mar 6 (KNN) In a major milestone for the small and medium enterprises, the number of companies listed on the BSE-SME trading platform has touched the crucial number of 50, though the number of firms being actively traded is 13.

Gujarat based Si Vi Shipping Corporation Limited was the last firm to be listed on the platform with its public issue of 27.42 lakh equity shares with the issue price of Rs 25 per share while Kolkata based Unishire Urban Infra Limited and Polymac Thermoformers Limited were among the latest entrants on the BSE-SME.

Mumbai based NBFC, SPS Finquest; Women’s Next Loungeries Limited and Shri Krishna Prasadam Limited are some companies waiting to be listed on the BSE SME platform.

BSE SME Platform offers an entrepreneur and investor friendly environment, which enables the listing of SMEs from the unorganized sector scattered throughout India, into a regulated and organized sector. (KNN/SD)
