BSE SME trades up by 0.17% on Monday morning

Mumbai, June 6 (KNN) The SME Exchange of BSE was trading up by 0.17 per cent on Monday morning, however, only 11 out of 120 companies listed with the bourse traded actively.

So far, 138 companies have got listed with BSE SME out of which 18 have migrated to the main board. These firms belong to a wide range of sectors, like logistics services, media, automotive components, hospitality and infrastructure among others.

In May, the quantum of fund-raising through BSE SME platform crossed Rs 1,000 crore mark.

As per norms, the companies have to be mandatorily listed and traded on the SME platform for a minimum period of two years and only after that they can migrate on to the main board, as per the guidelines specified by market regulator SEBI.

The market capitalization of BSE SME was at Rs 6,940.46 crore with 6 gainers, 4 losers and 1 company that traded flat.

The market cap of 21 companies listed with its ITP platform was at Rs 6,151.36 crore. (KNN Bureau)
