COSIA signs MoU with SIDBI for inclusive credit access for MSEs

Mumbai, Mar 8 (KNN) The Chamber of Small Industry Association (COSIA) has recently signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Small Industries Development Bank of India (SIDBI) for ensuring inclusive credit access to Micro & Small Enterprises (MSEs).

Under the MoU, the new entrepreneurs as well as the start-ups can approach COSIA for their financial needs up to Rs 50 lakhs and such proposals through COSIA will be forwarded to SIDBI appropriately.

“The existing entrepreneurs are also eligible for such financial help to their extension of business,” said Dilip Salvekar, Secretary General, COSIA, in a press note.

There are many schemes of SIDBI of which the entrepreneurs can take benefit with the assistance of COSIA, he added.

The MoU was signed in the presence of K Shivaji, CMD, SIDBI and M R Khambete, President, COSIA. (KNN Bureau)
