Delhi govt sets deadline for trade tax refunds

New Delhi, Nov 26 (KNN)  In order to streamline the disposal of refund cases, the Department of Trade and Taxes of the Delhi Government has directed all dealers whose refund claims are pending to  file information online so their refund claims can be processed expeditiously.

“All dealers whose refund claims are pending and their returns for the year 2009-10 onwards involve central sale/sock transfer against statutory forms, are hereby directed to file information online for the pending statutory forms/declaration in Block R 10 of CST return Form 1 by 30th November 2013 for the year 2009-10 and by 31st December for the year 2010-11, 2011-12 and 2012-13 in order to help process the refund claims expeditiously,” said a public notice from the Department of Trade and Taxes here.

The notice went on to state that if no such information is received by the due date, the refund claims will be processed on the basis of the latest information of statutory forms available with the department.  (KNN/ES)
