Fin Min extends last date for filing GST returns for taxpayers affected by Cyclone Titli & Gaza

New Delhi, Nov 29 (KNN) Taking note of disturbances caused to daily life by Cyclone Titli in the district of Srikakulam, Andhra Pradesh, and by Cyclone Gaza in eleven districts of Tamil Nadu, the Finance Ministy has decided to extend the due dates of filing GST returns.

The 11 affected districts of Tamil Nadu due to Cyclone Gaza are - Cuddalore, Thiruvarur, Puddukottai, Dindigul, Nagapattinam, Theni, Thanjavur, Sivagangai, Tiruchirappalli, Karur and Ramanathapuram.

The due date for submission of Form GSTR-3B for the month of September and October of those taxpayers whose principal place of business is in the district of Srikakulam in Andhra Pradesh has been extended to November 30, 2018.

Submission date of Form GSTR-3B for the month of October of taxpayers whose principal place of business is in the 11 specified districts of Tamil Nadu, has been extended to December 20, 2018.

For taxpayers having an aggregate turnover of more than Rs 1.5 crore and whose principal place of businesses in the district of Srikakulam in Andhra Pradesh, the submission date for Form GSTR-1 for the month of September and October has been extended to November 30, 2018.

The submission date of Form GSTR-1 for the month of October for taxpayers having an aggregate turnover of more than Rs 1.5 crore and whose principal place of business is in the eleven specified districts of Tamil Nadu, has been extended to December 20, 2018.

For all taxpayers, submission date of Form GSTR-7 for the months of October to December 2018, has been extended to January 31, 2018.
