Five more companies get listed on BSE SME

Mumbai, Apr 14 (KNN) Five additional small and medium enterprises (SMEs) were listed on the BSE SME platform on April-13 taking the total number of listed companies on the bourse to 134.

The new companies that were listed yesterday are Lancer Container Lines, Raghav Ramming Mass, Franklin Leasing and Finance, Sysco Industries and Ruby Cables.

Of the 134 firms, as many as 16 SMEs have migrated to BSE's mainboard, over time.

Meanwhile, the five companies which got listed would be added to the S&P BSE SME IPO index with effect from April 20.

It is expected that around 15 SMEs are planning to bring Initial Public Offer (IPO) in BSE, while many are waiting for the approval. The platform helps SMEs grow and raise the required capital for expansion.

In trading today, shares of Lancer Container Lines, Raghav Ramming Mass, Franklin Leasing and Sysco Industries closed in the green.

Ruby Cables scrip saw no change in closing trade today compared to its IPO issue price. (KNN Bureau)
