FM Jaitley to hold pre-Budget consultation with industry representatives today

New Delhi, Jan 6 (KNN) Union Finance Minister Arun Jaitley will hold the pre-Budget consultation meeting with representatives of Industry and Trade Groups today.

Minister of State for Finance Jayant Sinha along with the Finance Secretary and other Secretaries of the Ministry of Finance will also participate in the meeting.

Jaitley held a a pre-budget meeting with agriculture sector representatives on Monday. The Finance Minister sought for the need to increase investment in the sector as well to revisit incentives structure for the farmers.

He said the agriculture sector needs to increase productivity by leveraging technology, efficient usage of water and adapting to latest information technology to increase resilience. (KNN Bureau)
