Global Entrepreneurship Summit 2017 to kick off from tomorrow in Hyderabad

New Delhi, Nov 27 (KNN) Global Entrepreneurship Summit-2017 (GES) themed ‘Women First, Prosperity for All’ will begin tomorrow in Hyderabad. Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao and U.S. President’s Adviser Ivanka Trump will address the inaugural ceremony.

The three day summit focuses on energy and infrastructure; healthcare and life sciences; financial technology and digital economy; and media and entertainment sectors and many noted personalities from politics, Bollywood, business, fashion will hold deliberations to discuss entrepreneurship in the country.

Day 1 of the summit on 29 November will witness many discussions related to startup  funding for scaling up businesses and startup friendly policies.

Ram Charan Teja and Aditi Rao Hydari would be in a panel to discuss the ‘Future of Cinema’and  Star chef Vikas Khanna, Amway Corporation president Doug Devos, Flipkart’s co-founder Sachin Bansal, Nasscom president K. Chandrasekhar and Kalaari Capital managing Director Vani Kola  will also address the participants.

Discussions scheduled for November 30 range from investments in emerging markets; advances in and applications of space technology; advancing women’s opportunities in the media industry; e-commerce; capitalising on failures; to innovative technologies to recycle waste.

The speakers for day 2 of the event on 30 November are Manushi Chhillar, Sonam Kapoor, Director of Defence Research and Development Organisation Tessy Thomas, NITI Aayog CEO Amitabh Kant, Goldman Sachs Japan Co managing director Ankur Sahu, T-Hub CEO Jay Krishnan and Secretary to Ministry of Drinking Water and Sanitation Parameswaran Iyer.
