Govt imposes provisional anti-dumping duty on some steel products

New Delhi, Nov 3 (KNN) Government today imposed a provisional anti-dumping duty on hot-rolled steel products from China for 6 months.

The move aims to cut down imports and protect the local mills.

According to a media report, the anti-dumping duty has been levied for six months.

Steelmakers such as Steel Authority of India, JSW Steel and Tata Steel had urged the government to take measures to protect the local industries.
