India-Azerbaijan discusses ways to enhance cooperation in MSME sector

New Delhi, Nov 5 (KNN) India-Azerbaijan Inter-Governmental Commission on Trade and Economic, Scientific and Technological Cooperation (IA-IGC) is working towards enhancing cooperation in the field of micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs) along with other sectors.

Commerce Ministry, in a statement on Friday, said the 4th Session of IA-IGC was held on 25-26 October, 2016 in Baku, Azerbaijan.

The meeting was co-chaired by Sunil Kumar, Joint Secretary, FT(CIS) Division, Department of Commerce.

During the meeting, the issues pertaining to Cooperation in the field of increasing bilateral trade and enhancing bilateral investment, Cooperation in the field of small and medium enterprises, Transport, Energy, Agriculture and Animal products, Tourism and Culture, Pharmaceutical and Health, Information and Communication Technologies, Science and Education, Heavy Industry and Chemicals and Petrochemicals sector etc. were discussed.

A post discussion, a protocol was also signed by both sides. (KNN Bureau)
