India eyeing at boosting economic engagement with International community at WEF Davos

New Delhi, Jan 22 (KNN) Indian delegation led by Prime Minister Narendra Modi will be looking forward to engage with other visiting countries in a bid to boost the country’s economic engagement at the World Economic Forum meet in Davos.

PM Modi in his statement, prior to the departure for Davos said “I am confident that these bilateral meetings would be fruitful and give a boost to our relations with these countries and further strengthen economic engagement”.

The World Economic Forum is to meet from January 22 under the broad theme “Creating a Shared Future in a Fractured World”.

“In recent years, India’s engagement with the outside world has become truly and effectively multi-dimensional covering the political, economic, people to people, security and other spheres”, PM Modi said.

Earlier during a press conference Commerce and Industry Minister Suresh Prabhu informed that the Indian delegation led by Prime Minister Narendra Modi is to hold session on opportunities of investments in the Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSME) sector at the upcoming World Economic Forum in Davos.
