New Delhi, Dec 24 (KNN) Relaxing the policy, the Indian government has lifted the restriction on exporting wood charcoal to Bhutan.

"There will be no prohibition on export of wood charcoal to Bhutan," Directorate General of Foreign Trade (DGFT) said in a notification.

“Classifications of Export and Import Items prohibit export of wood charcoal.  This prohibition will not apply to Bhutan,” the notification added.
India shares good bilateral trade relations with Bhutan for which it provides special dispensation.

In 2012-13, India's exports to Bhutan stood at USD 233.22 million and imports were USD 164 million. (KNN/SD)
