Indian & Chinese companies sign MoUs for contracts worth USD 3.43 billion

New Delhi, Sept 17 (KNN) Indian and Chinese companies today signed MoUs for 24 contracts worth USD 3.43 billion in a range of sectors such as aircraft leasing and financing, telecom, chemicals, wind power components, cotton yarn and fabric, synthetic fibre and seafood.
 
The MoUs were signed at the conclusion of the India-China Business Meeting organized by FICCI on the sidelines of the meetings between the visiting Chinese President, Xi Jinping and Prime Minister Narendra Modi and amongst officials from the two countries.
 
Other dignitaries present at the MoU signing ceremony were First Secretary, Department of Foreign Trade, Ministry of Commerce, Peoples Republic of China, Ren Feng; Secretary General, FICCI, A Didar Singh; Economic and Commercial Counselor, Embassy of China, Wang Hejun, and Director, Ministry of Commerce and Industry, Government of India, Sanjeet Singh.  (KNN/ES)
